Hearthvale Interiors - Medieval Tavern & Cottage Tileset

Hearthvale Interiors is a painted-style medieval interior kit for RPG, village-builder and tavern-management games: 12 bordered floor tiles plus 9 seamless floor variants, 8 front-on wall panels and 48 furniture and workshop sprites (77 pieces), ready to build cottages, taverns, shops and smithies.

What is in the pack

• 12 floors: oak planks, dark planks, flagstone, cobblestone, checker tile, packed dirt, straw, blue pattern rug, red and gold carpet, whitewash planks, mossy stone, terracotta.
• 9 seamless floors: borderless oak, dark and whitewash planks, flagstone, cobblestone, mossy stone, checker, packed dirt and straw that repeat without a visible grid. Terracotta is available only as a bordered tile, and the blue pattern rug and red and gold carpet are decorative swatches, not repeatable floors.
• 8 wall panels: plaster and timber, stone, window with curtains, arched door, fireplace, bookshelf, banner with torches, shuttered window.
• 24 furniture pieces: tables, chair, stool, bench, single and double bed, wardrobe, drawers, bookshelf, bedside table, chest, fireplace, iron stove, cauldron on tripod, kitchen counter, barrel, crate, two rugs, spinning wheel, loom, writing desk, grandfather clock.
• 24 tavern, shop and workshop props: bar counter, shop counter, potion shelf, lantern, wall candle, tankard tray, anvil, forge, weapon rack, armor stand, workbench, grindstone, wine barrel, flour sacks, ham rack, potted plant, book stack, globe, tavern table, bar stool, dartboard, mirror, firewood, ladder.
• Sprite atlases (Game and HD) with JSON rectangles and pivots, a catalog JSON and an offline browser preview.

Sizes and use

HD is the painted size: floors 256 px square, walls 360 x 380, furniture about 130 to 310 px. Game is half of HD, rounded down. The 12 tiles in Floors/ carry a painted border (the grid is visible by design); use the borderless tiles in FloorsSeamless/ for continuous floors, run wall panels along the back edge, then place furniture sorted by pivot Y.

Good to know

• Views: wall panels are flat front-on, floors are top-down and furniture is a three-quarter view, so rooms are composed like the sample screens rather than a strict isometric grid. Wall panels (360 px) are wider than floor tiles (256 px) and are meant to be tiled or scaled to your grid.
• Version 1.0.3: the tavern, bedroom and smithy example rooms are recomposed as tighter, framed rooms, and there is a new HD vs Game proof image. No sprite changes. Wall panels have about 10 px transparent margin per side: place them at a 340 px pitch (HD) so the timber posts meet. The example rooms are not included; only the individual assets are.
• Version 1.0.2: added 9 seamless floor tiles, recomposed the three sample rooms (one theme each), clearer example disclaimer, new transparency and size proof image and notes on baked decorations and walls. The pack is now 77 pieces.
• Version 1.0.1: cleaned leftover magenta from see-through gaps (bench, grindstone, loom) and removed pink tint from lanterns and candles.
• Static painted art (not pixel art), transparent PNGs, no animation, no tilemap, no engine project. Fires, candles and lanterns are painted frames. Many sprites are predecorated (mugs, candles, flowers, goods on counters and shelves) and cannot be split, and there are no unlit versions. Wall panels are straight back-wall pieces only: no corners, end caps or side walls.
• The rooms in the screenshots are sample layouts made from the pack; the layouts are not included.
• Pairs with Hearthvale Village UI Kit and Hearthvale Town Buildings (sold separately).
• Art generated with AI tools, then cut out, sized, checked and packaged.

License

Use in personal and commercial games, apps, videos and prototypes, and modify freely. Credit is appreciated but not required. Do not resell or redistribute the raw assets as an asset pack, template or stock, or use them to train AI models.
